I seriously think Left 4 Dead atmosphere should have been what Dead Nation is. Left 4 Dead is a zombie shooter but there is no glaucous ambiance. The maps are only common places used in scary / zombie movies (Valve forgot a college, btw. Zombies love colleges).
But other than few corpses here and there, you don't feel like in a horror game. Just a game in a town with zombies. Whereas Dead Nation shows a similar area (a ghost town infected with zombies) but with a far better ambia...

Sony's EyeToy games didn't save the PS2, i don't see how Natal can save gaming. How many players can afford to play standing up in a large space?
Most of players play in a small area, sat down or onto their bed. Plus, they tend to be lazy arses. Moving to play? No way, they prefer smashing buttons lying down. There is no place for innovation in hardcore gaming.

But if people complain about L4D2 it's mostly because Valve announced it and will release it too soon. l4D released 18 November 2008, L4D2 is announced on 21st April 2009 (5 months later) and due to release for November 2009, only a year after the first one.
